My wife and I moved to our house on 12th St back in 2009 and now raise our kids here in the neighborhood. We love having everything we need nearby and being able to live without a car. I work at the Department of Education making the FAFSA form more accessible so that more students can afford college.

I could use your help on this whole ANC Commissioner thing. I got involved when it looked like no one else was going to occupy the seat because I want to ensure our neighborhood has a voice with DC government. But I need you to tell me what is important to you and whom I should be pushing. My sense is that ANCs don't have much power on big issues, but they do have the ability to push for better implementation of government services at the local level. So help me be the best nudnik I can be by letting me know where we need better services.
