The ANC 1B Executive Committee shall review all eligible submissions and present nominations for chair of each committee to the full Commission for approval at its February 6 meeting.

Standing committee chairs shall be appointed to serve a one-year term, or until a successor is appointed. The terms of office shall commence at the close of the meeting at which the Commission confirms the committee chairs. There are no limits to the number of terms a chair may serve on the committee.

Specific processes and expectations vary by committee and the time commitment is generally between 10 and 20 hours per month.
