The ANC1B Economic Development Committee is hosting a community meeting on October 19 at 6:30pm to discuss DMPED's planned redevelopment of 1617 U Street NW.

The meeting will be held in hybrid format, with physical meeting space at 1620 V St NW (MPD 3rd District headquarters) and virtual space via Zoom.

To get community feedback on future of the site with a focus on overall contributions to the neighborhood and community amenities. Neighbors can share perspectives on specific zoning changes at the 11/20 Zoning Commission Hearing (see below) – this meeting is focused on what the community wants to see at the site regardless on zoning decisions.
