    1. Committee member Cmsr. Frank Chauvin has reached out to DMPED to see if anyone can speak to DMPED’s plan or vision for the site. If DMPED responds, we will use this time to discuss with them.

    2. Additional discussion on interim uses

    3. Dog park idea is with DPR

    1. Previously, ANC 1B voted to endorse the “North Shaw Dog Park” idea.

  2. Reeves Center – no updates from DMPED since March.

    1. Chair Cmsr. Tucker Jones asked DMPED for an update in July and again in August but no response.

  3. Performance parking updates

    1. DDOT has opened the Notice of Intent (NOI) for “Implementation of DCMR 50-2538 Greater U Street Performance Parking Zone”

    2. At its August 1 meeting, ANC 1B passed a resolution in support of this NOI, and asking that more streets in the area be added to the implementation.

    3. Continued discussion on the parking/revenue side will take place in the Transportation Committee.

  4. Topics that the Economic Development Committee wants to prioritize in its last four meetings of 2024

    1. The purpose of this item is to allow committee members and other neighbors to sketch out what items they want the Economic Development Committee to focus on in September, October, November, and December 2024. Some items may include, but are not limited to, the following:

      1. Community benefit/improvement district guidance

      2. Duke Plan

      3. Social housing
